◆ 8년 연속 우수기관 선정

공주시가 농림축산식품부 주최 2024년 전국 농업기계 임대사업 종합평가에서 8년 연속 우수 운영기관으로 선정됐다. 공주시가 26일 밝혔다.

농림축산식품부가 전국 시군 농업기계임대사업소를 대상으로 실시하는 이 평가는 지난 1년간 운영 성과를 종합 평가하는 제도다. 공주시는 농기계 대당 임대 실적, 임대료 수준, 수요자 평가 등 전반 항목에서 우수 평가를 받아 '매우 우수' 기관으로 최종 선정됐다. 농림축산식품부 장관 표창장과 표창패를 수상했다.

◆ 교육영상 부문에서도 우수기관 인정

공주시는 농촌진흥청 농촌인적자원개발센터 주최 농업인·농업기계 교육 우수콘텐츠 공모에서도 성과를 거뒀다.

'트랙터 및 관리기의 올바른 사용법' 교육영상을 출품해 교육영상 분야 '우수기관'으로 선정됐으며 농촌인적자원개발센터장상을 수상했다. 이 교육영상은 농업인 교육에 현재 활용 중이다.

◆ 농촌 고령화 대응 강화 추진

최원철 공주시장은 "농업기계 임대사업을 안정적으로 운영해 농촌 인구 고령화에 따른 노동력 부족 해소와 농가 경영비 절감에 기여하겠다"며 "발전하는 농업기계 다양한 운용 기술 보급에 힘써 농업 경쟁력 강화에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Gongju City has been selected as an excellent operating institution for 8 consecutive years in the 2024 National Agricultural Machinery Rental Business Comprehensive Evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Gongju City announced this on the 26th.

The evaluation, conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, targets agricultural machinery rental offices in cities and counties nationwide and comprehensively evaluates operational performance over the past year. Gongju City received excellent evaluations across all categories including rental performance per agricultural machine, rental rate level, and user evaluations, and was ultimately selected as a 'Very Excellent' institution. The city received a commendation certificate and plaque from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

◆ Also Recognized as Excellent Institution in Educational Video Sector

Gongju City achieved results in the agricultural education and agricultural machinery education excellent content competition hosted by the Rural Human Resources Development Center under the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.

The city was selected as an 'Excellent Institution' in the educational video category by submitting an educational video titled 'Proper Use of Tractors and Management Machines,' and received the Rural Human Resources Development Center Director's Award. This educational video is currently being used in farmer education programs.

◆ Strengthening Response to Rural Aging

Mayor Choi Won-chul of Gongju City stated, "By operating the agricultural machinery rental business stably, we will contribute to resolving labor shortages caused by rural population aging and reducing farm management expenses. We will do our best to strengthen agricultural competitiveness by promoting the dissemination of various operation techniques for advancing agricultural machinery."
