충북 소방 구급차가 강원도 원주시에서 전도돼 응급 외상환자 50대 남성이 숨졌다.
사고는 21일 오후 6시 10분께 원주시 무실동 한 도로에서 발생했다. 구급차가 적색 신호를 지나 주행하던 중 승용차와 충돌해 전도됐다. 환자 A씨는 심정지 상태로 병원에 옮겨졌으나 끝내 사망했다. A씨 보호자와 구급대원 등 4명도 흉부 등을 크게 다쳤다.
A씨는 같은 날 오후 5시 37분께 충북 충주시 엄정면에서 목재 절단 장비에 장기가 손상돼 권역외상센터인 원주시 한 대학병원으로 이송 중이었다. 경찰과 소방은 정확한 사고 경위를 조사하고 있다.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
