시멘트산업사회공헌재단(이사장 전근식)은 17일 단양군청 군수실에서 충북 단양군보건의료원에 1억5000만 원 상당의 첨단 의료장비를 전달했다. 전달식에는 김문근 단양군수, 김종태 단양기금관리위원장, 심용석 재단 사무총장 등이 참석했다.

심용석 사무총장은 "의료장비 지원이 지역 의료 서비스 질을 높이고 단양 군민 건강 보호에 기여하기를 바란다"고 말했다. 재단은 2023년 9월 출범했으며 지난해에도 단양군보건의료원에 6억5000만 원 상당의 안과 정밀 진단기기와 내과 검진 장비 3종을 지원한 바 있다.

The foundation transferred three types of medical devices: a slit lamp microscope for precise ophthalmologic examination, an automated blood analyzer for rapid specimen analysis, and a centrifuge. These devices replace outdated ophthalmology and clinical pathology equipment at Danyang County Health Center, which opened in July of last year, with the goal of providing high-quality medical services.
