◆ 충남도 공공보건의료지원단이 11일 천안 신라스테이에서 지역·필수의료 발전 포럼을 개최했다. 도내 지자체 관계자, 책임의료기관 담당자, 유관기관 대표 등 80여 명이 참석했다. 포럼은 정책 전략 논의와 중진료권별 현황 진단으로 구성했다.
◆ 1부 기조강연에서 유원섭 국립중앙의료원 공공의료본부장이 지역·필수의료 강화를 위한 중앙 정부 정책 방향을 발표했다. 배재용 한국보건사회연구원 연구위원은 지역·필수의료 발전을 위한 과제와 도의 역할을 제시했다. 이어진 종합토론에서는 충남도 지역·필수의료 발전 방안을 주제로 의견을 교환했다. 2부에서는 공공보건의료지원단이 도내 5개 중진료권별 책임의료기관 관계자와 지역의료 현황을 진단하고 발전 방향을 논의했다.
◆ 유호열 도 보건정책과장은 "급격한 인구 구조 변화와 필수의료 수요 증가에 선제적으로 대응하는 자리를 마련했다"고 말했다. 김영택 도 공공보건의료지원단장은 "중진료권별 현황을 심층적으로 진단하고 지역맞춤형 대응 전략을 논의했다"며 "실효성 있는 정책 대안을 발굴해 충남 지역·필수의료 발전에 기여하겠다"고 밝혔다. 충남도는 앞으로 도민 건강증진과 삶의 질 향상을 위해 지역·필수의료 강화 정책을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

◆ Chungnam Province Public Healthcare Support Group held a regional and essential medical care development forum on the 11th at Shilla Stay Cheonan. More than 80 participants including municipal government officials, responsible medical institution managers, and related agency representatives attended. The forum consisted of policy strategy discussion and mid-medical district status diagnosis.
◆ In the first keynote lecture, Won-seop Yu, director of the Public Healthcare Division at the National Medical Center, presented the central government's policy direction for strengthening regional and essential medical care. Jae-yong Bae, research fellow at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, presented tasks for regional and essential medical care development and the province's role. In the subsequent panel discussion, participants exchanged opinions on Chungnam Province's regional and essential medical care development plan. In the second session, the Public Healthcare Support Group diagnosed regional healthcare status with responsible medical institution officials in five mid-medical districts across the province and discussed development directions.
◆ Ho-yeol Yu, director of the provincial Health Policy Division, said, "We created a venue to proactively respond to rapid demographic changes and increased demand for essential medical care." Young-taek Kim, director of the provincial Public Healthcare Support Group, stated, "We conducted in-depth diagnosis of each mid-medical district's status and discussed region-customized response strategies. We will contribute to Chungnam's regional and essential medical care development by discovering practical policy alternatives." Chungnam Province plans to continuously promote regional and essential medical care strengthening policies to enhance residents' health and quality of life.
