◆ 세 부문 모두 우수사례로 선정
제천문화재단(이사장 김상수)은 한국문화예술위원회와 한국지역문화재단총연합회가 진행한 '2025년 지역중심 예술과 기업 동반성장 대상 우수사례 공모전'에서 기업·재단·예술가(단체) 3개 부문 모두 우수사례로 선정됐다. 이 공모전에는 기업 103건, 재단 24건, 예술가(단체) 67건 등 총 194건이 접수됐으며, 기업 37개사, 재단 15곳, 예술가(단체) 3곳 등 55개 기관·단체가 최종 선정됐다. 제천문화재단은 한국문화예술위원회로부터 9월에 국비 4,300만 원을 확보한 데 이어 이번 선정으로 추가 국비 1,000만 원을 확보했다.
◆ 각 부문별 수상 현황
기업 부문에는 시멘트사회산업공헌재단이 지역 예술단체 후원 및 협업 성과로 700만 원 시상금을 받았다. 재단 부문에는 제천문화재단이 지역 문화생태계 연결 역할과 지원체계 구축으로 한국문화예술위원회 위원장상을 수상했다. 예술가(단체) 부문에는 장애인연극극단 마중이 기업 후원 연계 우수사례로 한국문화예술위원회 위원장상을 수상했다.
◆ 지역 협력 구조 구축 계획 수립
제천문화재단은 이번 선정을 바탕으로 지역 예술단체와 기업의 안정적 협력 구조 구축에 나선다. 김호성 제천문화재단 상임이사는 "지난 3년간 중앙기관과의 협업을 통해 지역 기반 협력 구조의 우수성을 입증했다"며 "앞으로 더 많은 단체와 기업이 자연스럽게 연결될 수 있도록 재단이 매개자 역할을 하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Selected as Outstanding Cases in All Three Categories
Jecheon Culture Foundation (Chairman Kim Sang-soo) has been selected as an outstanding case in all three categories—corporate, foundation, and artists/groups—at the '2025 Regional-Based Art and Corporate Co-Growth Award-Winning Cases Public Recruitment' hosted by the Korea Arts & Culture Committee and the Korean Regional Culture Foundation Alliance. The competition received a total of 194 applications: 103 from companies, 24 from foundations, and 67 from artists or groups. A total of 55 organizations and groups were selected: 37 companies, 15 foundations, and 3 artists or groups. Following its acquisition of 43 million won in government funds from the Korea Arts & Culture Committee in September, Jecheon Culture Foundation secured an additional 10 million won in government funds through this selection.
◆ Awards by Category
In the corporate category, Cement Society Industrial Contribution Foundation received 7 million won in prize money for its performance in supporting and collaborating with local arts groups. In the foundation category, Jecheon Culture Foundation received the Korea Arts & Culture Committee Chairman's Award for its role in connecting the regional cultural ecosystem and establishing support systems. In the artists/groups category, Disability Theater Troupe Majung received the Korea Arts & Culture Committee Chairman's Award as an outstanding case of corporate sponsorship linkage.
◆ Plans to Build Regional Cooperation Structure
Based on this selection, Jecheon Culture Foundation will work to establish a stable cooperative structure between local arts groups and companies. "Over the past three years, through collaboration with central government agencies, we have proven the excellence of regional-based cooperative structures," said Kim Ho-sung, Standing Director of Jecheon Culture Foundation. "Going forward, the foundation will serve as a mediator to naturally connect more organizations and companies," he added.
