국제구호개발 비정부기구 월드쉐어(이사장 최순자)가 10일 논산시에 750만 원 상당의 차렵이불 150채를 기탁했다. 기탁된 차렵이불은 논산시 어르신돌봄센터를 통해 논산시 내 취약계층 어르신들에게 전달된다.
◆ 겨울나기 지원하는 나눔의 손길
월드쉐어 지부장 박지영은 "추운 겨울을 앞두고 어르신들이 따뜻하게 밤을 보낼 수 있도록 작은 정성을 보탔다"며 "어르신들의 건강한 겨울나기에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다"고 밝혔다. 논산시장 백성현은 "어려운 이웃들에게 꾸준히 따뜻한 마음을 전해주신 월드쉐어에 감사드린다"며 "기탁해주신 이불이 어르신들에게 위로와 온기로 전해지길 바란다"고 화답했다.
◆ 지속되는 지역사회 나눔
월드쉐어는 지난 추석에도 720만 원 상당의 선물세트 150개를 논산시에 기탁했다. 올해만 총 1470만 원 상당의 물품을 논산시에 전달한 월드쉐어는 지역사회 나눔 활동을 계속하고 있다.

International humanitarian NGO World Share (Chairman Choi Soon-ja) donated 150 quilted blankets worth 7.5 million won to Nonsan City on the 10th. The donated blankets will be delivered to vulnerable elderly residents in Nonsan through the Nonsan Senior Care Center.
◆ Sharing Efforts Supporting Winter Living
Park Ji-young, Director of World Share's Nonsan Branch, stated "As we face the cold winter, we made a small gesture to ensure elderly residents can spend warm nights," adding "We hope this contributes to helping elderly residents have a healthy winter." Mayor Baek Sung-hyun of Nonsan City responded, "We deeply appreciate World Share for consistently providing warm support to those in need," expressing hope that "the donated blankets will bring comfort and warmth to our elderly residents."
◆ Continuing Community Sharing Initiatives
World Share previously donated 150 gift sets worth 7.2 million won to Nonsan City during Chuseok. With this year's quilted blanket donation, World Share has delivered a total of 14.7 million won worth of goods to Nonsan City and continues its community sharing initiatives.
