대전시 대덕구 비래동 길치문화체육센터 개관식 10일 개최했다. 총사업비 222억 원 투입해 2023년 1월 착공, 2025년 9월 준공 완료했다. 연면적 3,285㎡, 지하 1층부터 지상 3층 규모 건설됐다. 계족산 자락 입지로 공원 이용객에게 새로운 힐링공간 역할 기대된다.

◆ 시설 구성 및 운영 일정

센터 내 25m×5레인 수영장, 다목적체육관, 작은도서관, 생활문화센터(학습공간·마루공간·방음공간) 마련했다. 수영장 12월 11일부터 14일까지 시범운영(무료) 진행, 12월 15일부터 정상운영(유료) 개시한다. 체육관(배드민턴, 탁구) 2026년 1월 2일부터 운영 예정이다.

◆ 도시 체육 인프라 확충

한종탁 대전시 체육건강국장 "올해 생활체육 인프라 확충 중구 한밭문화체육센터에 이어 대덕구 길치문화체육센터 개관하며 일류 체육도시 조성 한 발 더 나아갔다"고 말했다.

◆ Center Opening and Facility Scale

Daejeon City held an opening ceremony December 10 for the Gilchi Culture and Sports Center located in Birae-dong, Daedeok-gu. The project invested 22.2 billion won, began construction January 2023, and completed September 2025. The facility spans 3,285 square meters across basement level one through ground level three. Located on the slopes of Gyejok Mountain, the center provides a new healing space for park visitors.

◆ Facility Composition and Operating Schedule

The center includes a 25-meter, five-lane swimming pool, multipurpose gymnasium, small library, and life culture center (learning space, open space, soundproof space). The swimming pool operates in trial mode December 11-14 (free admission), then begins regular operations December 15 (paid admission). The gymnasium (badminton, table tennis) will open January 2, 2026.

Han Jong-tak, Director of Daejeon City's Sports and Health Division, stated: "This year, through the opening of Gilchi Culture and Sports Center in Daedeok-gu following Hanbat Culture and Sports Center in Jung-gu, the city advances further in creating a world-class sports city."
