◆ 대전시가 대덕구 비래동에 222억 원을 투입한 길치문화체육센터를 10일 개관했다. 이 시설은 지난 2023년 1월 착공해 2025년 9월 준공됐으며, 연면적 3,285㎡의 지하 1층·지상 3층 규모로 지어졌다.

◆ 센터는 25m 수영장(5레인), 다목적체육관, 작은도서관, 생활문화센터를 갖추고 있다. 수영장은 12월 11일부터 14일까지 무료 시범운영을 거쳐 15일부터 정상운영(유료)에 들어간다. 다목적체육관(배드민턴·탁구)은 2026년 1월 2일부터 개장한다.

◆ 한종탁 대전시 체육건강국장은 "올해 대중구의 한밭문화체육센터에 이어 대덕구의 길치문화체육센터 개관으로 일류 체육도시 조성에 한 발 더 다가섰다"고 말했다.
