◆ 15일 케이이알 방문
세종일자리경제진흥원(원장 이홍준)은 15일 '제2차 세종 미래성장 동행투어'를 실시했다. 전자파 기술 강소기업 케이이알(KER)을 방문했다.
방문은 7월 진행된 1차 투어 후속 일정이다. 기업과의 상호 이해를 높이고 현장 중심의 실질적 지원 정책 마련을 위해 추진했다.
◆ 2009년 설립, 전자파 솔루션 전문기업
케이이알은 세종시 연동면 명학일반산업단지에 위치한 전자파 솔루션 전문기업이다. 2009년 설립했다.
케이이알은 전자파(EMC/EMP/RCS/Jamming) 차폐·흡수체, 대책 부품, 시험·분석 서비스, 방호시설 구축 등 전자파 분야 전반에 걸쳐 토털 솔루션을 제공한다.
국방 전자전 분야와 AI 기반 시험평가 기술에 강점을 갖고 있다. K-방산 무기체계 개발 및 생산, 전자파 성능평가 분야에서 기술력을 인정받고 있다.
◆ 연구개발 성과 소개, 애로사항 청취
행사에서 케이이알의 연구개발 성과와 주요 생산·시험 설비가 소개됐다.
진흥원은 기업의 애로사항을 청취했다. 맞춤형 지원방안과 산학연 협력 확대 방안 등에 대해 의견을 교환했다.
◆ "현장 중심 기업 지원 확대하겠다"
이홍준 원장은 "케이이알은 전자파 기술의 국산화와 방위산업 경쟁력 강화에 기여하는 지역 대표 강소기업"이라고 말했다.
이 원장은 "진흥원은 현장 중심의 기업 지원을 확대해 세종지역 기업들이 기술경쟁력을 높이고 지속적으로 성장할 수 있도록 뒷받침하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
진흥원은 지역 기업들을 지속적으로 방문해 산업 현장의 목소리를 정책에 반영하고 실효성 있는 지원방안을 마련할 계획이다.

KER provides total solutions across the entire electromagnetic wave field, including electromagnetic wave (EMC/EMP/RCS/Jamming) shielding and absorbers, countermeasure parts, testing and analysis services, and protection facility construction.
It has strengths in the defense electronic warfare field and AI-based test evaluation technology. Its technological capabilities are recognized in the K-defense weapon system development and production, and electromagnetic wave performance evaluation fields.
◆ Introduction of R&D Achievements, Listening to Difficulties
At the event, KER's R&D achievements and major production and testing facilities were introduced.
The promotion agency listened to the company's difficulties. It exchanged opinions on customized support plans and ways to expand industry-academia-research cooperation.
◆ "Will Expand Field-Centered Corporate Support"
Director Lee Hong-jun said, "KER is a representative regional strong small company that contributes to the localization of electromagnetic wave technology and strengthening the competitiveness of the defense industry."
Director Lee added, "The promotion agency will expand field-centered corporate support to help Sejong area companies increase technological competitiveness and grow continuously."
The promotion agency plans to continue visiting local companies to reflect the voices of the industrial field in policies and prepare effective support measures.
