4고 현상에 어려움 겪는 천안 기업들

천안시의회 김철환 의원(국민의힘, 성환읍·직산읍·입장면)이 15일 제283회 임시회 제1차 본회의에서 천안시 기업지원제도 개선 방안을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 했다. 김 의원은 "천안시 기업들은 고금리·고물가·고환율·고관세 등 4고 현상으로 인해 경영에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다"며 "특히 자본력이 부족한 중소기업들은 원자재 가격 상승과 금융비용 증가로 인해 경영 위기에 내몰리고 있다"고 밝혔다.

김 의원은 "천안시가 기업유치, 판로개척, 자금지원 등 다양한 정책을 시행하고 있음에도 불구하고 현장에서는 실질적인 도움이 미흡하다는 목소리가 많다"고 지적했다. 그는 "많은 기업이 지원정책의 존재 자체를 모르고 있으며 복잡한 신청 절차로 인해 실제 이용률이 낮다"고 설명했다.

다양한 홍보수단 활용 제안

김 의원은 신속한 기업 지원시스템 구축과 적극적인 정책 홍보 강화를 강조했다. 그는 "숏폼 콘텐츠나 인플루언서 협력 등 다양한 홍보수단을 활용해 접근성을 높여야 한다"고 제안했다. 또한 프랑스의 경쟁거점 육성 사례를 언급하며 "지역의 중장기적 산업 육성을 위해 지역특화 산업 기반을 강화하고 성장의 토대를 다져야 한다"고 강조했다.

지속가능한 지원체계 구축 당부

김 의원은 "천안시는 충남 경제의 심장이자 성장의 중심도시로, 지금의 위기를 기회로 바꾸기 위해서는 신속하고 효율적이며 지속가능한 기업지원체계 구축이 필요하다"며 "천안시가 지역 기업의 든든한 버팀목이 될 수 있도록 적극적인 제도 개선을 추진해야 한다"고 발언을 마무리했다.

Member Kim concluded his remarks by saying, "Cheonan City is the heart of South Chungcheong Province's economy and the central city of growth. To turn the current crisis into an opportunity, it is necessary to establish a rapid, efficient, and sustainable corporate support system," and "Active system improvements must be pursued so that Cheonan City can become a strong support for local businesses."
