금은방에서 1000만원 상당의 고가 시계를 훔쳐 달아난 40대가 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

충북 청주청원경찰서는 절도 혐의로 A(40대)씨를 불구속 입건해 조사하고 있다고 15일 밝혔다.

A씨는 13일 오후 6시30분께 청주시 청원구 오창읍의 한 금은방에서 1000만원 상당의 시계를 손목에 착용한 뒤 도주한 혐의를 받고 있다.

그는 점주에게 붙잡힌 뒤 경찰에 인계됐다.

경찰은 정신질환을 앓는 A씨에 대해 응급입원 조처했다.

The Cheongju Cheongwon Police Station in North Chungcheong Province announced on the 15th that it has booked A, in his 40s, without detention on theft charges and is investigating.

A is suspected of putting a watch worth 10 million won on his wrist and fleeing at around 6:30 p.m. on the 13th at a jewelry store in Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu, Cheongju City.

He was caught by the shop owner and handed over to police.

Police took emergency hospitalization measures for A, who suffers from mental illness.
