홍성군은 지방세 감면 중점조사와 세무조사로 10억원을 추징했다. 고액체납자에 대한 가택수색과 빅데이터 기반 체납분석을 통한 체납차량 번호판 영치활동 등으로 세정 기반을 강화했다. 이런 노력으로 2024회계 충청남도 지방세정 종합평가에서 10년 연속 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
◆2,000억원 시대 준비
김명호 세무과장은 "자주재원의 근간이 되는 지방세 2,000억원 시대를 열기 위해 새로운 세원 발굴에 더욱 노력하겠다"며 "납세자 맞춤형 편의 시책을 지속 발굴해 신뢰받는 지방세정을 펼쳐나가겠다"고 말했다.

◆Tax Administration Supports Performance
Hongseong County recovered 1 billion won through intensive tax exemption investigations and tax audits. The county strengthened its tax administration foundation through home searches of high-delinquent taxpayers and vehicle license plate confiscation activities based on big data delinquency analysis. As a result, the county was selected as an excellent institution for ten consecutive years in the 2024 fiscal South Chungcheong Province comprehensive local tax administration evaluation.
◆Preparing for 200 Billion Won Era
Kim Myung-ho, head of the Tax Division, stated, "We will make greater efforts to discover new tax sources to open the era of local tax reaching 200 billion won, which is the foundation of independent financial resources."
