◆확진 및 초동대응
충북도 12월 17일 괴산군 사리면 산란계 농장 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(AI) H5N1형 최종 확진 발표했다.
12월 16일 해당 농장에서 의사환축 발생, 정밀검사 결과 고병원성 AI 확진됐다.
초동방역반 긴급 투입, 사람과 차량 출입 통제 실시 중이다.
사육 중인 산란계 24만 마리 살처분 진행하고 있다.
◆방역조치
500m 지역을 관리지역, 3km 지역을 보호지역, 10km 지역을 예찰지역으로 지정했다.
방역대 내 25호 농장, 125만 수에 대해 이동제한 조치를 실시한다.
12월 19일까지 정밀검사 완료를 계획하고 있다.
◆도내 전역 검사 추진
도내 산란계 농장 130호 대상으로 12월 31일까지 일제 정밀검사를 추진한다.
김원설 충북도 동물방역과장은 "고병원성 AI 전국적 확산 상황에서 농장 차단 방역이 중요하다"며 "폐사 증가, 산란율 저하 등 의심 증상 발견 시 즉시 신고해달라"고 당부했다.

◆Confirmation and Initial Response
North Chungcheong Province announced December 17 final confirmation of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) H5N1 at a laying hen farm in Sari-myeon, Goesan-gun.
A suspected case was detected December 16 at the farm; precision inspection confirmed highly pathogenic AI.
An emergency quarantine team was deployed with entry restrictions on personnel and vehicles implemented.
Culling of 240,000 laying hens in operation is proceeding.
◆Quarantine Measures
The province designated the 500m zone as a management area, the 3km zone as a protection zone, and the 10km zone as a surveillance zone.
25 farms and 1.25 million birds within the quarantine area are subject to movement restrictions.
Precision inspection completion is targeted by December 19.
◆Province-Wide Inspection Initiative
All 130 laying hen farms in the province will undergo precision inspection by December 31.
Kim Won-seol, Director of the Animal Quarantine Division of North Chungcheong Province, stated "Highly pathogenic AI is spreading nationwide, making farm biosecurity measures essential." He urged "Report suspected AI symptoms including increased mortality and reduced egg production to quarantine authorities immediately."
