옥천군이 '2026년 옥천군 마을만들기사업' 대상지로 청산면 한곡리, 동이면 금암2리, 안남면 도덕1리 등 3개 마을을 최종 확정했다.
군은 지난 10일 동이면 행복동이 힐링센터에서 성과공유회를 열고 2025년 옥천마을포럼을 진행해온 5개 마을의 성과를 종합 평가했다. 청산면 삼방리·한곡리, 안남면 도덕1리, 동이면 금암2리, 이원면 건진2리 등 5개 마을 주민 50명이 사업 성과와 마을발전계획을 발표했다.
군민평가단 30명과 전문 심사단 7명이 평가에 참여했다. 군은 발표 내용, 주민 참여도, 마을발전 가능성 등을 종합해 3곳을 선정했다.
황규철 옥천군수는 "선정된 마을들이 지역발전의 중심축이 되길 기대한다"며 "성공적인 사업 추진을 위해 행정 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 밝혔다.

Okcheon County finalized three villages as target sites for the '2026 Okcheon County Village Development Project': Hangok-ri in Cheongsan-myeon, Geumam 2-ri in Dongi-myeon, and Dodeok 1-ri in Annam-myeon. The county held a performance sharing meeting at Dongi-myeon Happy Dongi Healing Center on the 10th and comprehensively evaluated the achievements of five villages that participated in the 2025 Okcheon Village Forum. Fifty residents from five villages including Sambang-ri and Hangok-ri in Cheongsan-myeon, Dodeok 1-ri in Annam-myeon, Geumam 2-ri in Dongi-myeon, and Geonjin 2-ri in Iwon-myeon presented their project achievements and village development plans. Thirty citizen evaluators and seven professional judges participated in the evaluation. The county selected three sites based on comprehensive assessment of presentation content, resident participation, and village development potential. Okcheon County Governor Hwang Gyu-cheol stated, "I expect the selected villages to become the central axis of regional development," adding, "We will spare no administrative support for successful project implementation."
