행정안전부는 전국 243개 지자체를 대상으로 소비쿠폰 지급 실적, 사용률 확대, 사용처 확대, 신청·지급 편의 제고 등 5개 항목을 평가했다. 천안시는 시 단위 75개 지자체 중 상위 15개 지자체로 선정됐다.
천안시는 1차·2차 소비쿠폰 신청 기간 천안사랑카드 가맹점을 확대했다. 시민 사용 편의를 높인 조치다. 천안사랑카드 민생회복 소비쿠폰 사용촉진 이벤트를 통해 지역 내 소비 활성화를 견인했다.
김석필 천안시장 권한대행 부시장은 "민생회복 소비쿠폰의 신속한 지급을 위해 적극 노력한 결과가 우수지자체 선정으로 이어졌다"며 "앞으로 지역경제 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.

Cheonan City was selected as an excellent municipality in the Ministry of Interior and Safety's evaluation of the Civil Recovery Consumer Coupon Program implementation and secured 200 million won in special grants. This was announced by Cheonan City on December 16.
The Ministry of Interior and Safety evaluated 243 local governments nationwide on five items: coupon distribution performance, usage rate expansion, expanded usage sites, and improved application and distribution convenience. Cheonan City was selected as one of the top 15 municipalities among 75 municipal-level governments.
During the first and second rounds of consumer coupon applications, Cheonan City expanded Cheonan Love Card merchant locations. The measure improved citizen convenience. Through the Cheonan Love Card Civil Recovery Consumer Coupon usage promotion event, the city drove consumption activation in the region.
