예산군의회는 16일 제9차 본회의를 열어 지난 11월 25일부터 22일간 진행한 제321회 제2차 정례회를 마무리했다.

의회는 11월 25일부터 27일까지 2025년 제4회 추가경정예산안과 기금운용계획변경안을 심사했다. 11월 28일부터 12월 5일까지는 23개 부서에 대해 2025년도 군정질문을 진행했다.

의원발의 조례안 5건, 집행부 제출 조례안 4건, 공유재산관리계획안 2건, 동의안 2건 등 총 13건의 안건을 심사해 원안가결했다.

12월 8일부터 12일까지 상임위원회 3개에서 2026년도 예산안과 기금운용계획안에 대해 분야별 심도 있는 논의와 토론을 진행했다. 12월 15일 예산결산특별위원회 종합 심사를 거쳤다.

12월 16일 제9차 본회의에서 2026년도 예산안 9,064억 중 270백만 원을 삭감해 수정의결했다. 2026년도 기금운용계획안은 원안가결했다.

장순관 의장은 "2025년도 총 12회, 80일 회기 동안 안건과 예산안 심사에 수고해 주신 동료의원과 최재구 군수님을 비롯한 공직자들의 노고에 감사드린다"고 말했다.

장 의장은 "2026년에는 군민의 기대에 부응할 수 있도록 더 낮은 자세로 군민과 함께하는 예산군의회가 되겠다"고 덧붙였다.

Yesan County Council Closes 321st Second Regular Session

The Yesan County Council held its ninth plenary session on the 16th, concluding the 321st Second Regular Session, which ran for 22 days starting from November 25th.

The council reviewed the 2025 Fourth Supplementary Budget and Fund Management Plan Revision from November 25th to 27th. From November 28th to December 5th, it conducted the 2025 Military Administration Questions on 23 departments.

The council examined a total of 13 agenda items, including five legislator-initiated ordinance bills, four executive-submitted ordinance bills, two public asset management plans, and two consent bills, and passed them as originally proposed.

From December 8th to 12th, three standing committees engaged in in-depth discussion and debate on the 2026 Budget Plan and Fund Management Plan by field. The council underwent comprehensive review by the Budget and Settlement Special Committee on December 15th.

At the ninth plenary session on December 16th, the council amended and resolved the 2026 Budget Plan by cutting 2,700 million won from 906.4 billion won. The 2026 Fund Management Plan was passed as originally proposed.

Council Chairman Jang Soon-gwan stated, "I express my gratitude to my fellow council members and public officials including Mayor Choi Jae-gu for their efforts during the 2025 session of 12 meetings and 80 days in reviewing agenda items and budget plans."

Chairman Jang added, "In 2026, the Yesan County Council will become a council that stands with residents with a more humble stance so that we can meet the expectations of residents."
