충북 진천군은 16일 행정안전부 주관 '2025년도 기후재난(폭염·한파·가뭄) 대응 평가'에서 우수기관(장려)으로 선정돼 특별교부세 5천만원을 확보했다고 발표했다.
평가는 온열질환자 발생 규모, 감소율 등 인명피해 지표, 예방 활동 실적, 폭염대책비 예산 증가율 등을 기준으로 종합적으로 판단했다. 총 13개 기관(시도 5개, 시군구 8개)을 선정했으며 진천군은 폭염분야 재난 대응 우수기관(장려)에 선정됐다.
이영자 진천군 안전정책과장은 "군민 안전을 최우선으로 생각하며 폭염 대응에 전 행정력을 집중한 결과"라고 밝혔다.
진천군은 2024년 재난대응 안전한국훈련 우수기관, 2024년 재난관리평가 우수기관에도 선정됐다.

Jincheon County, North Chungcheong Province, was selected as an outstanding organization (commendation) in the "2025 Climate Disaster (Heat Wave, Cold Wave, Drought) Response Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security on December 16. Jincheon County has been consistently recognized as an outstanding organization in disaster safety, including selection as an outstanding organization in the 2024 Disaster Response Safety Korea Drill and the 2024 Disaster Management Evaluation.
