◆ 행사 개요 및 배경

충청북도의회 교육위원회 오는 17일 오후 2시 도의회 다목적회의실에서 'AI시대 인성교육 방향 모색 정책토론회' 개최한다.

인공지능 대전환 시대 인성교육 현황 진단 및 미래 교육 방향 수립 목표로 마련됐다.

김정일 충청북도의회 의원(청주3) 좌장 맡는다. 류지현 전남대학교 교육학과 교수 주제 발표 진행한다.

토론자로 나재준 양업고등학교 교사, 백지영 용암초등학교 운영위원장, 이현준 인성교육범국민실천연합 사무총장, 전미영 2M인재개발원 대표, 최선미 충청북도교육청 인성시민과장 참석한다.

◆ 기관 입장 및 향후 계획

김정일 의원 "인공지능 발전 정확성·효율성·편리성 제공하지만 올바른 활용 위해 인성과 윤리적 가치 뒷받침 필수"라고 강조했다.

또 "시대 변화·기술 발전 속에서도 교육 중심 사람이어야 한다"며 "AI와 함께 살아갈 책임 있는 미래 인재 양성 위해 올바른 인성교육 필수"라고 밝혔다.

교육위원회 이번 토론회 통해 AI시대 적합한 인성교육 새로운 방향 제시하고 교육 현장과 정책 간 연계 강화해 미래 사회 대비 인성교육 정책 마련할 계획이다.

Kim Jung-il, Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Council member (Cheongju District 3), chairs the event. Ryu Ji-hyun, professor of education at Chonnam National University, presents the main topic.

Discussants include Na Jae-jun, teacher at Yangup High School; Baek Ji-young, chairperson of Yongam Elementary School Operating Committee; Lee Hyun-jun, secretary general of National Movement Alliance for Character Education; Jeon Mi-young, CEO of 2M Talent Development Institute; and Choi Sun-mi, director of Character Citizenship Division at Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education.

◆ Institutional Position and Future Plans

Member Kim Jung-il stressed: "AI development provides accuracy, efficiency, and convenience, but character and ethical values must support proper utilization."

He also stated: "Even with changing times and technological advancement, education must center on people. Proper character education is essential for cultivating responsible future talent to live alongside AI."

The Education Committee plans to present new directions for character education suited to the AI era through this forum, strengthen linkage between educational fields and policy, and establish character education policies to prepare for future society.
