금산군 금산읍은 12월 15일까지 가을철 산불 예방을 위한 총력 대응에 나선다고 밝혔다.
읍은 1공무원 1마을 책임제를 시행하고 산불 취약지 순찰, 논·밭두렁 및 쓰레기 소각 행위 단속, 산불 위험요인 사전 제거 활동을 펼친다.
◆ 상시 감시체계 구축
읍은 산불감시원과의 협력체계를 강화해 산불 발생 시 신속한 초동 대응이 가능하도록 했다.
산불감시원은 주요 산림지역 및 인접 마을을 중심으로 순찰 활동을 진행한다. 공무원은 주말 및 공휴일에도 상시 비상대기 체제를 유지한다.
◆ 주민 참여형 예방 활동 확대
읍은 주민 참여형 산불예방 활동을 확대하고 마을방송 및 홍보 캠페인을 통해 산불 예방 인식을 높여나갈 계획이다.
읍 관계자는 "가을철은 건조한 날씨와 영농폐기물 소각으로 산불 위험도가 높아지는 시기"라며 "공무원과 감시원이 함께하는 상시 감시체계를 통해 산불 발생을 차단하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Wildfire monitors conduct patrol activities centered on major forest areas and adjacent villages. Officials maintain a constant emergency standby system on weekends and holidays.

The town office plans to expand resident participation wildfire prevention activities and raise awareness of wildfire prevention through village broadcasts and promotional campaigns.
