◆ 세종·강원·전북·제주 4개 교육청 유보통합 정책 협력 강화

세종특별자치시교육청은 지난 12일 세종전통문화체험관에서 강원·전북·제주 도교육청과 함께 '유보통합 정책 워크숍'을 개최했다. 구연희 권한대행 부교육감이 주관한 이번 워크숍에는 각 교육청 업무 담당자 30여 명이 참석했다. 올해 전북(첫째), 제주(둘째), 강원(셋째)에 이어 이번이 네 번째 개최되는 자리다.

◆ 유보통합 시범사업 성공 사례 집중 공유

워크숍에서 각 교육청은 유보통합 시범사업 운영 현황과 보육사무 이관 준비 과정의 우수사례를 공개했다. 유치원과 어린이집 교사가 함께 참여하는 토론회, 시범기관 내 교사 학습공동체 활성화, 유보통합 월간 소식지 발간, 보육사무 실무 해설서 제작, 시·도청-교육청 합동 어린이집 지도·점검 등이 소개됐다. 참석자들은 유보통합 정책 추진의 발전 방향을 함께 논의했다.

◆ 지역 특성 맞춘 추진과 상호협력 강화 다짐

이강재 유초등교육과장은 "4개 특별자치시·도 교육청이 지속적으로 정보를 공유하고 협력을 강화하여 유보통합이 성공적으로 추진될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다. 세종시교육청은 유보통합을 각 지역의 특성에 맞게 추진하면서 시도 간 상호협력을 강화하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

◆ Four Education Offices in Sejong, Gangwon, Jeonbuk, and Jeju Strengthen Policy Cooperation

The Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education held a 'Unified Early Childhood Education Policy Workshop' with the Gangwon, Jeonbuk, and Jeju Provincial Offices of Education at the Sejong Traditional Culture Experience Center on December 12. Approximately 30 officials from each education office attended the workshop, which was overseen by Deputy Superintendent Gu Yeon-hee, acting in place of the superintendent. This marks the fourth such session this year, following events in Jeonbuk (first), Jeju (second), and Gangwon (third).

◆ Success Cases from Unified Early Childhood Education Pilot Project Shared Intensively

Each education office unveiled success cases from operating unified early childhood education pilot projects and preparing for the transfer of childcare affairs. Introduced were discussion forums with kindergarten and childcare facility teachers participating together, activation of teacher learning communities within pilot institutions, publication of monthly unified early childhood education newsletters, production of childcare affairs operational guidebooks, and joint inspection and oversight of childcare facilities by city and provincial offices and education offices. Participants discussed the future direction of unified early childhood education policy implementation.

◆ Commitment to Region-Tailored Implementation and Strengthened Mutual Cooperation

Director Lee Gang-jae of the Early Childhood Education Division stated, "The four special self-governing cities and provincial education offices will share information continuously and strengthen cooperation to ensure successful implementation of unified early childhood education." The Sejong City Office of Education prioritizes implementing unified early childhood education tailored to each region's characteristics while strengthening cooperation among municipalities and provinces.
