◆ 공직생활 실수경험담 공모전 개최

충북 단양군은 공직생활 실수경험담 공모전 수상작 9편을 선정해 시상했다고 8일 밝혔다. 이번 공모전에는 익명 제출 9건을 포함해 총 58개 실수경험담이 접수됐다. 내·외부 심사위원 5명이 충실성, 가독성, 활용 가능성 등을 기준으로 심사했다.

◆ 최우수상 김진미 축수산팀장 수상

최우수상은 김진미 축수산팀장의 '사람을 위한 자리, 실수에서 배운 길'이 차지했다. 실수 책임을 회피하지 않고 직접 사과한 경험과 작은 일까지 끝까지 확인하는 업무습관을 갖게 된 사연이다. 우수상은 박종미 복지정책팀장(아찔한 오찬 예약 분투기), 김용진 주무관(토지소유자가 아닌 사람과의 협의, 그 끝은 행정심판이었다), 이미선 인구정책팀장(지금은 알고, 그때는 몰랐던 민원인 응대법)이 받았다. 장려상 수상작은 사건·사고형 실수담과 성찰·반성 메시지를 담은 작품들이다.

◆ 수기집 제작해 교육 자료로 활용

단양군은 수상작 등 실수경험담을 수기집으로 제작해 공유할 계획이다. 신규 공무원 교육 등에 활용한다. 군 관계자는 "실수로부터 배우는 행정 교과서로 쓰이게 될 것"이라며 "이번 공모전은 실수마저 조직의 성장 자원으로 전환하는 새로운 행정문화 모델"이라고 말했다.

◆ Work Mistake Experience Contest Held

Danyang-gun, Chungbuk announced on the 8th that it selected and awarded 9 winning entries in the public service mistake experience contest. A total of 58 mistake experiences were submitted including 9 anonymous entries. Five internal and external judges evaluated entries based on completeness, readability, and applicability.

◆ Team Leader Kim Jin-mi Wins Grand Prize

Team Leader Kim Jin-mi of the Livestock and Fisheries Team won the grand prize with "A Position for People, A Path Learned from Mistakes." The story describes her experience of directly apologizing without avoiding responsibility for a mistake and developing the work habit of confirming every small detail. Excellence awards went to Team Leader Park Jong-mi of the Welfare Policy Team (A Nerve-wracking Luncheon Reservation Battle), Officer Kim Yong-jin (Negotiating with Someone Who Wasn't the Landowner, It Ended in Administrative Appeal), and Team Leader Lee Mi-sun of the Population Policy Team (How to Respond to Civil Petitioners I Know Now But Didn't Know Then). Encouragement award winners include stories of incident-type mistakes and messages of reflection.

◆ Handbook to Be Produced as Training Material

Danyang-gun plans to compile the winning entries and other mistake experiences into a handbook for sharing. It will be used for new public official training. A county official said, "It will serve as an administrative textbook that learns from mistakes. This contest is a new administrative culture model that transforms even mistakes into organizational growth resources."
