태안국제원예치유박람회 조직위원회가 공무원노조와 손잡고 박람회 성공개최에 나선다.

조직위는 24일 충남도청에서 충청남도공무원노동조합, 충청남도공무원노동조합협의회, 태안군공무원노동조합과 박람회 성공개최를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 이날 협약식에는 조직위 사무총장과 각 공무원노조 대표가 참석해 상호 협력 의지를 공식화했다.

협약에 따라 공무원노조는 박람회 홍보 활동에 적극 협력한다. 조직위는 공무원의 박람회 참여 시 상시학습 시간을 부여하는 등 참여 증진을 위한 행정적 지원에 나서기로 했다.

조직위는 공무원 참여 확대가 지역 주민과 단체로 홍보 효과를 확산시켜 박람회 추진 전반의 안정성을 높일 것으로 기대한다.

조직위 관계자는 "공무원노조와의 협약은 박람회 성공개최를 위한 든든한 협력 기반"이라며 "공공부문이 함께 참여해 국민에게 신뢰받는 국제행사를 만들겠다"고 밝혔다.

2026 태안국제원예치유박람회는 내년 4월 25일부터 5월 24일까지 30일간 태안군 안면도 꽃지해안공원 일원에서 열린다. '자연에서 찾는 건강한 미래 원예&치유'를 주제로 충청남도와 태안군이 공동 개최하며, 40개국에서 182만 명의 관람객 방문이 예상된다.

Taean Horticultural Healing Expo Committee Partners with Public Servant Unions

MOU signed with three unions to boost promotion and participation for 2026 event

The Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo Organizing Committee has partnered with public servant unions to ensure a successful exposition.

The committee signed a memorandum of understanding on Dec. 24 at the South Chungcheong Provincial Government Office with three organizations: the South Chungcheong Province Public Servants' Union, the South Chungcheong Province Public Servants' Union Council, and the Taean County Public Servants' Union. The committee's secretary-general and representatives from each union attended the ceremony to formalize their commitment to mutual cooperation.

Under the agreement, the public servant unions will actively support promotional activities for the expo. The organizing committee will provide administrative support to encourage participation, including granting continuous learning hours for public servants who attend the event.

The committee expects that expanded public servant participation will amplify promotional effects among local residents and organizations, enhancing overall stability in expo preparations.

A committee official stated that the agreement with public servant unions establishes a solid foundation for a successful expo, adding that public sector participation will help create an international event trusted by the public.

The 2026 Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo will run for 30 days from April 25 to May 24 next year at Kkotji Beach Park on Anmyeondo Island in Taean County. Co-hosted by South Chungcheong Province and Taean County under the theme "Healthy Future Found in Nature: Horticulture & Healing," the event expects 1.82 million visitors from 40 countries.
