◆ ISMS 인증 획득…277개 항목 엄격 심사 통과
KG 모빌리티(이하 KGM)가 정보보호 관리체계(ISMS) 인증 획득을 통해 안전한 디지털 서비스 기반을 마련했다고 24일 밝혔다. 이번 인증은 과학기술정보통신부와 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)의 평가 기준에 따라 총 277개 세부 점검 항목에 대해 엄격한 심사를 거쳐 획득했다. 정보보호 관리체계 수립 및 운영, 정보보호 대책 요구사항의 세부 점검 항목, 알뜰폰 사업자(MVNO)에 특화된 항목 등이 포함됐다.
◆ 홈페이지·중고차·커넥티드카 서비스 안전 운영
KGM은 이번 인증으로 회사 공식 홈페이지 및 인증 중고차 서비스, 온라인 스토어 등 대고객 서비스 부문을 더욱 안전하게 운영할 수 있게 됐다. 차량 전자제어 시스템 고도화를 위한 커넥티드카 서비스도 보안이 강화된다. KGM은 IT 인프라와 정보처리시스템에 대한 취약점 분석 및 위험평가 등 보안 수준 향상 활동과 내부 감사를 통해 관리체계가 효과적으로 작동할 수 있도록 지속 점검할 방침이다.
◆ 2022년 KG 그룹 편입 후 거버넌스 강화 추진
KGM은 2022년 KG 그룹 가족사로 편입되면서 그룹의 정보보호 강화 지침에 따라 거버넌스 강화 프로젝트를 추진해왔다. 내부 시스템 전반에 대한 보안 규정 재정립, 보안 관제 체계 개선, 임직원 보안 교육 확대, 개인정보 관리 체계 정비 등을 수행했다.
KGM 관계자는 "정보보안 운영 체계 확립과 리스크 관리 시스템을 통해 회사의 정보 자산을 더욱 안전하게 보호할 수 있는 기틀을 마련했다"며 "중고차 거래 플랫폼 등 고객서비스와 커넥티드카 서비스의 보안관리체계 고도화로 고객에게 신뢰받는 기업으로 도약하기 위해 최선을 다할 것"이라고 말했다.

◆ Obtains ISMS Certification…Passes Rigorous 277-Item Review
KG Mobility (hereinafter KGM) announced on December 24 that it has established a foundation for safe digital services by obtaining Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification. This certification was obtained after rigorous review of 277 detailed inspection items according to evaluation standards from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). Items included establishment and operation of information security management systems, detailed inspection items for information protection measure requirements, and items specialized for mobile virtual network operators (MVNO).
◆ Safe Operation of Website, Used Car, and Connected Car Services
With this certification, KGM can now operate customer-facing services more safely, including the company's official website, certified used car services, and online store. Security for connected car services for advancing vehicle electronic control systems will also be strengthened. KGM plans to continuously monitor through security level improvement activities such as vulnerability analysis and risk assessment of IT infrastructure and information processing systems, and internal audits to ensure the management system operates effectively.
◆ Promoted Governance Strengthening After Joining KG Group in 2022
KGM has been promoting a governance strengthening project according to the group's information security enhancement guidelines since joining the KG Group family in 2022. The company has re-established security regulations for overall internal systems, improved security control systems, expanded employee security training, and reorganized personal information management systems.
A KGM official stated, "We have established a foundation to more safely protect the company's information assets through the establishment of an information security operation system and risk management system," adding, "We will do our best to leap forward as a company trusted by customers through advancement of security management systems for customer services such as used car trading platforms and connected car services."
