◆ 마약 혐의 수사 중 태국 출국…캄보디아서 호화 도피
마약 혐의를 받는 상태에서 해외 도피 생활을 해오던 남양유업 창업주 외손녀 황하나(37)씨가 경찰에 체포됐다. 경기 과천경찰서는 황씨를 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 조사하고 있다고 24일 밝혔다.
황씨는 2023년 7월 서울에서 지인 등 2명에게 주사기를 이용해 필로폰을 투약한 혐의를 받는다. 황씨는 이후 경찰 수사선상에 올랐으나 같은 해 12월 태국으로 출국했다. 이후 캄보디아로 밀입국해 호화 생활을 해온 것이 최근 언론 보도를 통해 알려졌다.
◆ 인터폴 청색수배·여권무효화…프놈펜 공항서 체포
경찰은 황씨가 태국으로 출국한 뒤 지난해 5월 인터폴에 소재파악을 위한 청색수배를 요청하고 여권무효화 조치를 했다. 황씨는 변호사를 통해 경찰에 자진 출석 의사를 밝힌 것으로 전해졌다.
체포 절차에 돌입한 경찰은 캄보디아로 가 현지 영사와 합의를 거쳐 황씨를 프놈펜 태초국제공항 국적기 내에서 체포했다. 황씨는 이날 오전 7시 50분께 인천국제공항을 통해 입국했으며 현재 과천경찰서에서 조사받고 있다.
◆ 2019년 집행유예·2020년 실형…세 번째 마약 혐의
황씨는 앞서 2015년 5~9월 서울 자택 등에서 필로폰을 세 차례 투약한 혐의 등으로 기소돼 2019년 징역 1년에 집행유예 2년형을 선고받았다. 이듬해 집행유예 기간 중 재차 마약을 투약해 징역 1년 8개월을 선고받은 바 있다.

Hwang Ha-na (37), granddaughter of Namyang Dairy founder, was arrested by police after living overseas as a fugitive while under drug charges. Gyeonggi Gwacheon Police Station announced on December 24 that they are investigating Hwang on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Hwang is accused of administering methamphetamine to two acquaintances using syringes in Seoul in July 2023. Hwang came under police investigation but fled to Thailand in December of the same year. It was recently revealed through media reports that she had illegally entered Cambodia and lived lavishly.
◆ Interpol Blue Notice and Passport Invalidation…Arrested at Phnom Penh Airport
After Hwang fled to Thailand, police requested an Interpol blue notice for location tracking in May last year and invalidated her passport. Hwang reportedly expressed her intention to voluntarily appear through her attorney.
Police initiated arrest procedures, traveled to Cambodia, and after consultations with local consular officials, arrested Hwang aboard a Korean airline at Phnom Penh Pochentong International Airport. Hwang arrived through Incheon International Airport at approximately 7:50 a.m. on this day and is currently being investigated at Gwacheon Police Station.
◆ 2019 Suspended Sentence, 2020 Prison Term…Third Drug Charge
Hwang was previously indicted for administering methamphetamine three times at her Seoul residence between May and September 2015, receiving a suspended sentence of one year imprisonment with two years probation in 2019. The following year, she was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison for using drugs again during the probation period.
