충북 영동군은 15일 오후 군청 상황실에서 제1기 통합지원협의체 위촉식을 열었다. 지역사회 통합돌봄 추진 기반을 마련한 것이다.
제1기 통합지원협의체 구성원은 총 27명이다. 당연직 5명, 위촉직 22명으로 이뤄졌다. 보건·복지·의료·주거·고용 등 다양한 분야 전문가와 관계기관 담당자가 참여했다. 임기는 2년이며 2027년 12월 31일까지 활동한다.
협의체는 지역계획 수립 및 평가, 통합지원 시책 심의, 관련기관 연계·협력을 수행한다.
위촉식에서 영동군은 협의체 위원들에게 위촉장을 전달했다. 통합돌봄사업 전반에 대한 설명과 홍보 영상 시청 시간을 마련해 향후 사업 추진 방향을 공유했다.
영동군은 협의체 구성으로 통합돌봄체계 구축이 안정화될 것으로 예상했다. 다양한 분야 전문가 참여로 지역 실정에 맞는 복지·돌봄 모델을 수립하고, 보건·복지·의료 자원 연계를 강화해 주민 중심의 맞춤돌봄 환경 조성이 가능할 것으로 봤다.
영동군 관계자는 "영동군형 통합돌봄서비스 구축을 위한 필수 조직이 공식 출범한 만큼, 지역 주민이 체감할 수 있는 돌봄정책을 차질 없이 추진하겠다"며 "협의체와 긴밀히 협력해 지속 가능한 지역 돌봄체계를 완성해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
영동군은 2026년 1월 중 통합지원협의체 심의위원회를 개최하고 '영동군 지역 돌봄 통합지원에 관한 조례'를 공포할 계획이다.

Yeongdong County, North Chungcheong Province held an inauguration ceremony for its first Integrated Support Coordination Body on the afternoon of December 15 at the county office situation room. The move establishes the foundation for implementing community-based integrated care services.
The first Integrated Support Coordination Body comprises 27 members total. Five serve in ex-officio positions and 22 serve as appointees. Experts and agency officials from diverse sectors including health, welfare, medical care, housing and employment participated. Members serve two-year terms expiring December 31, 2027.
The coordination body performs regional plan establishment and evaluation, integrated support policy deliberation, and inter-agency coordination and cooperation.
At the inauguration ceremony, Yeongdong County delivered appointment letters to all coordination body members. The county provided an explanation of integrated care operations and organized viewing of promotional videos to share future project direction.
Yeongdong County anticipates that forming the coordination body will stabilize the integrated care system. Officials expect that participation of diverse sector experts will enable establishment of welfare and care models suited to local conditions, strengthen linkages between health, welfare and medical resources, and create a resident-centered customized care environment.
A Yeongdong County official stated, "With the official launch of this essential organization for building the Yeongdong County integrated care service model, we will implement resident-felt care policies without interruption and collaborate closely with the coordination body to complete a sustainable regional care system."
Yeongdong County plans to hold a deliberation committee meeting of the Integrated Support Coordination Body in January 2026 and promulgate the "Ordinance on Integrated Support for Yeongdong County Community Care."
