충청남도자치경찰위원회가 자치경찰 제도를 도민에게 알리기 위해 컬러링북을 제작했다. 12월 15일 발표했다.

컬러링북은 아동과 가족이 자치경찰 역할과 생활 안전 중요성을 이해하도록 기획했다. 교통 안전, 여성·아동 보호, 생활 안전 등 자치경찰 주요 업무를 도민 일상과 밀접한 사례로 담았다. 색칠 활동을 통해 안전 수칙을 자연스럽게 익히도록 구성했다.

아이들 눈높이에 맞춘 친근한 그림과 쉬운 설명으로 자치경찰 역할을 전달했다.

컬러링북은 교육 프로그램, 홍보 캠페인, 지역 행사에서 도민에게 배포될 예정이다. 도내 경찰청 활용을 위해 수요 조사를 거쳐 배부할 방침이다.

이종원 도 자치경찰위원장은 "컬러링북이 자치경찰 정책 이해도를 높이고 도민 참여형 치안 문화 확산에 보탬이 되길 바란다"고 말했다. "앞으로 도민 눈높이에 맞춘 다양한 홍보와 교육으로 자치경찰에 대한 인식을 높이고 공감대 확산에 힘쓸 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
