◆ 3일 이동검진 실시…51~70세 여성농업인 390명 참여
음성군은 2025년도 여성농업인 특수건강검진 이동검진을 지난 3일 금빛체육센터에서 완료했다. 농림축산식품부와 원진직업병관리재단이 협력한 이번 검진은 광주광역시 소망하나로병원이 직접 추진했다. 농번기로 병원 방문이 어려운 농촌 지역 여성농업인의 접근성을 높이기 위해 이동형 검진 방식을 도입했다. 대상은 농업경영체에 등록된 51세부터 70세 사이 홀수년도 출생 여성농업인이다. 검진에는 병원검진 320명, 현장 접수 추가 67명 등 총 390명이 참여했다.
◆ 근골격계·농약중독 등 5개 영역 10개 항목 검진…농작업 질환 조기발견 목표
검진 항목은 농업과 연관성이 높은 5개 영역 10개 항목으로 구성됐다. 근골격계 질환, 심혈관계 위험도, 골절·손상위험도, 폐활량, 농약 중독 등을 전문적으로 진단했다. 함께 예방 교육도 진행됐다. 음성군 관계자는 "농촌 고령화와 여성농업인의 역할 증가에 따라 건강 관리가 중요해지고 있다"며 "농작업 질환을 조기 발견하고 예방하는 데 도움이 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.
◆ 전액지원으로 경제 부담 해소…내년 짝수년도 여성농업인 대상 확대 추진
1인당 22만원 상당의 검진 비용은 음성군과 농림축산식품부가 전액 지원해 농업인의 경제적 부담을 제거했다. 3일 이동검진을 놓친 여성농업인을 위해 금왕읍 태성의료재단 제일조은병원에서 5일까지 병원 방문 검진을 진행했다. 음성군은 내년에 짝수년도 출생 여성농업인을 대상으로 특수건강검진 사업을 추진해 여성농업인의 삶의 질 향상을 지속적으로 도모할 계획이다. 자세한 내용은 음성군청 농정과(043-871-3663) 또는 각 읍면 행정복지센터로 문의하면 된다.

Eumseong-gun completed a 2025 special health checkup mobile inspection program for female farmers on the 3rd at the Geumbit Sports Center. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Won-jin Occupational Disease Management Foundation collaborated in this checkup, which was directly carried out by Sowang Hana Hospital in Gwangju. The mobile checkup method was adopted to increase accessibility for female farmers in rural areas who have difficulty visiting hospitals during farming seasons. Participants were female farmers registered in agricultural management bodies aged 51 to 70 born in odd-numbered years. A total of 390 female farmers participated in the checkup—320 received hospital-based checkups while 67 additional participants received checkups through on-site registration.

The checkup items comprised 10 items across five categories with high correlation to agriculture. Examinations covered musculoskeletal disease, cardiovascular risk factors, fracture and injury risk, lung capacity, and pesticide poisoning. Preventive education was conducted simultaneously. An Eumseong-gun official stated, "Health management has become increasingly important as rural aging progresses and the role of female farmers expands. We hope this checkup will prove helpful in early detection and prevention of work-related diseases among female farmers."
◆ Full Government Coverage Eliminates Financial Burden...Plans for Expansion to Even-Born Female Farmers Next Year
The 22 million won per-person checkup cost was fully covered by Eumseong-gun and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, eliminating financial burden on farmers. For female farmers who missed the December 3rd mobile checkup, hospital-based checkups were conducted at Taeseong Medical Foundation Jeil Eun Hospital in Geumwang-eup through the 5th. Eumseong-gun plans to continue promoting quality of life improvements for female farmers by expanding the special health checkup program next year to include female farmers born in even-numbered years.
