◆ 충북 3분기 순유입 인구 2,431명

충북여성재단(대표이사 유정미)은 9일 '충북인구가족동향'을 발간했다. 2025년 3분기 인구 이동 결과 타 시·도에서 충북으로 전입한 인구는 2만384명, 타 시·도로 전출한 인구는 1만7,953명으로 집계됐다. 순유입 인구는 2,431명으로 전년 동기 대비 1,824명 증가했다. 연령별로는 50대 669명, 30대 648명, 60대 534명 순으로 순유입이 나타났다. 30대는 전년 동기 대비 증가 폭이 가장 컸다. 성별로는 남성 1,543명, 여성 888명으로 남성이 여성보다 약 2배 많았다.

◆ 출생아 수 2,060명, 합계출산율 전국 4위

3분기 충북 출생아 수는 2,060명, 합계출산율은 0.95명으로 확인됐다. 전년 동기 대비 출생아 수는 100명, 합계출산율은 0.04명 증가했다. 충북 합계출산율은 전국 평균(0.81명)보다 0.14명 높아 전국 4위를 기록했다. 합계출산율 상위 지역은 전남 1.14명, 세종 1.04명, 경북 0.97명, 충북·충남 0.95명 순이다.

◆ 혼인 1,658건 증가, 이혼 773건 감소

3분기 충북 혼인 건수는 1,658건으로 전년 동기 대비 186건(12.6%) 증가했다. 인구 1,000명당 혼인 건수를 나타내는 조혼인율은 4.1건이다. 이혼 건수는 773건으로 전년 동기 대비 58건(7.0%) 감소했다.

주경미 충북여성재단 연구위원은 "인구 순유입과 출산율 증가가 계속되고 있어 충북 인구지표가 호조를 이어가고 있다"며 "합계출산율이 아직 1.0을 넘어서지 못해 출산율 증가세를 지속적으로 이어갈지가 관건이며 인구 유입의 성별 격차 해소도 과제"라고 밝혔다.

◆ Chungbuk Q3 Net Population Inflow Reaches 2,431

Chungbuk Women's Foundation (CEO Yoo Jeong-mi) released the 'Chungbuk Population and Family Trends' report on December 9. According to Q3 2025 population movement data, 20,384 people moved into Chungbuk from other provinces, while 17,953 moved out to other provinces. Net population inflow reached 2,431, an increase of 1,824 compared to the same period last year. By age group, net inflows were highest among those in their 50s (669), followed by 30s (648) and 60s (534). The 30s age group showed the largest year-over-year increase. By gender, male inflows numbered 1,543 and female inflows 888, with males approximately double that of females.

◆ 2,060 Births, Total Fertility Rate Ranks 4th Nationwide

Chungbuk recorded 2,060 births in Q3 with a total fertility rate of 0.95. Compared to the same period last year, births increased by 100 and the total fertility rate rose by 0.04. Chungbuk's total fertility rate exceeded the national average (0.81) by 0.14, ranking 4th nationwide. Regions with higher total fertility rates were Jeonnam (1.14), Sejong (1.04), Gyeongbuk (0.97), and Chungbuk/Chungnam (0.95).

◆ Marriages Up to 1,658, Divorces Down to 773

Chungbuk recorded 1,658 marriages in Q3, up 186 (12.6%) from the same period last year. The crude marriage rate stood at 4.1 per 1,000 population. Divorces totaled 773, down 58 (7.0%) year-over-year.

Joo Kyung-mi, Research Fellow at Chungbuk Women's Foundation, stated, "Chungbuk's population indicators continue to show positive trends with sustained net population inflow and increased fertility rates. However, maintaining the fertility rate increase remains a key challenge as the total fertility rate has yet to exceed 1.0, and addressing the gender gap in population inflow is also a task."
