◆ 도의회 성금 전달로 결핵 예방 사업 지원
충북도의회(의장 이양섭)는 9일 의장실에서 2025년 크리스마스 씰 증정식을 개최했다. 이 의장과 안광무 대한결핵협회 충북지부 회장이 참석해 도의회가 대한결핵협회 충북지부에 특별성금을 전달했다. 크리스마스 씰 모금 사업은 결핵 예방 사업 재원 조성과 결핵 예방 인식 제고를 목표로 진행된다.
◆ 올해 충북 7,500만원 모금 목표 설정
대한결핵협회 충북지부는 매년 크리스마스 씰 모금을 전개한다. 올해 도내 목표 모금액은 7,500만원으로, 전국 모금 목표는 30억원이다. 이번 크리스마스 씰은 인기 애니메이션 '브레드이발소'의 캐릭터를 활용해 제작됐다.
◆ 결핵 퇴치기금, 취약계층 지원 등에 사용
조성되는 결핵퇴치기금은 취약계층 결핵환자 발견, 학생 결핵 치료 지원, 결핵균 검사 및 연구, 개발도상국 지원, 대국민 결핵 예방 홍보에 활용된다. 이 의장은 "작은 정성이 모여 결핵 예방의 큰 힘이 되기를 바란다"며 "도민의 적극적 참여를 요청한다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Provincial Assembly Supports TB Prevention Project with Donation
The Chungbuk Provincial Assembly (Chairman Lee Yang-seop) held a 2025 Christmas Seal Presentation Ceremony at the Chairman's Office on December 9th. Chairman Lee Yang-seop and An Gwang-moo, Chairman of the Korean TB Association Chungbuk Chapter, attended the event and delivered a special donation to the Korean TB Association Chungbuk Chapter. The Christmas Seal fundraising campaign aims to generate resources for TB prevention projects and raise public awareness about TB prevention.
◆ This Year's Chungbuk Target Fundraising Set at 75 Million Won
The Korean TB Association Chungbuk Chapter conducts annual Christmas Seal fundraising. This year's target fundraising amount for the province is 75 million won, with the national fundraising target set at 3 billion won. This year's Christmas Seal was produced using characters from the popular animation 'Bread Barbershop.'
◆ TB Control Funds Allocated to Support Vulnerable Groups
The generated TB control fund will be used for TB patient discovery in vulnerable populations, student TB treatment support, TB bacillus testing and research, support for developing countries, and public TB prevention education. Chairman Lee stated, "I hope that small acts of kindness will combine to become a great force for TB prevention," and requested "active participation from residents of the province."
