◆ 협약패 수여로 교원 마음건강 협력 체계 강화
세종특별자치시교육청 학교지원본부(본부장 이미자)는 12월 9일 동행정신건강의학과에서 교원 심리치료 협력 의료기관 10곳에 협약패를 수여했다. 이번 행사는 그간 교원 심리 지원에 헌신한 협약 병원들의 역할을 인정하고 향후 협력 체계를 더욱 견고히 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.
◆ 연 250만원 한도, 실질적 심리치료 지원
'교원의 마음건강 전문의료기관 치료 연계 사업'은 교직 스트레스 또는 교육활동 침해로 피해를 입은 교원 대상이다. 지원 범위는 통원치료비 연 100만원, 입원비 연 150만원 한도다. 교원은 교육활동보호센터에서 병원연계증을 발급받아 세종 관내 협약병원 10곳 중 선택해 진료받은 후 치료비를 지원받는다.
◆ 다층적 교원 보호 시스템 운영 중
학교지원본부는 협약 의료기관 연계 외에도 학교 변호사 동행 및 자문 서비스, 지역교권보호위원회 개최, 찾아가는 상담, '마음쉼표' 프로그램을 운영 중이다. 이미자 본부장은 "교원들이 안정된 마음으로 교육에 전념할 수 있도록 협력 의료기관과의 연계를 더욱 강화하고 교원 치유 지원 시스템을 확대 구축할 방침"이라고 밝혔다.

◆ Plaque Presentation Reinforces Teacher Mental Health Cooperation System
The School Support Headquarters of Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Director Lee Mi-ja) presented plaques on December 9 to 10 medical institutions cooperating in teacher psychological treatment at the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. The event was held to recognize the role of cooperative hospitals that have been dedicated to supporting teacher mental health and to further strengthen future cooperation systems.
◆ Up to 2.5 Million Won Annually Supports Practical Psychological Treatment
The 'Teacher Mental Health Professional Medical Institution Treatment Linkage Project' targets teachers damaged by job stress or violations of educational activities. Support covers outpatient treatment fees up to 1 million won annually and hospitalization fees up to 1.5 million won annually. Teachers obtain a hospital linkage certificate from the Education Activity Protection Center, select one of 10 cooperative hospitals in Sejong, receive treatment, and receive treatment cost support.
◆ Multi-layered Teacher Protection System Operating
Beyond medical institution linkage, the School Support Headquarters operates school attorney accompaniment and consultation services, regional teacher rights protection committee meetings, visiting counseling, and the 'Mind Rest' program. Director Lee Mi-ja stated, "To enable teachers to devote themselves to education with stable minds, we will strengthen cooperation with medical institutions and expand the teacher healing support system."
