◆ 아산신도시, 내년 1월 하수처리시설 조기 준공

아산시가 9일 시청에서 '2025년 수도사업소 시정브리핑'을 개최했다. 임이택 수도사업소장은 상·하수도 분야의 주요 추진 현황과 향후 계획을 발표했다. 아산신도시 공공하수처리시설 1단계 사업은 공정을 단축해 당초보다 4개월 빠른 내년 1월에 준공한다. 이번 증설로 하루 2만8,000톤의 처리 용량을 확보하면 총 처리용량은 7만3,000톤으로 늘어난다.

◆ 상수도 2030년까지 632억 원 투입...관로 40㎞ 확충

아산시는 2030년까지 632억 원을 투입해 배수지 2개소와 가압장 6개소를 신설하고 상수관로 40㎞를 추가 구축한다. 탕정·음봉지구에는 관로 6.1㎞와 가압장 1개소를 설치해 산업단지 공업용수 수요에 대응한다. 배방휴대지구에는 100억 원을 투입해 배수지 1개소와 관로 4.2㎞를 설치한다. 아산시는 국비사업으로 선정된 '노후 상수도 현대화사업'을 통해 총 62.5㎞의 관로를 정비할 예정이며, 2026년에는 온양2동·4동·5동을 중심으로 10.5㎞ 구간을 우선 개량한다.

◆ 하수도 2,483억 원 투자...5개 시설 신설·증설

아산시는 총 2,483억 원을 투입해 5개 시설을 신설·증설한다. 둔포지역에는 4,600톤 규모, 인주지역에는 7,000톤 규모의 시설이 신설되며, 둘 다 내년 상반기 설계에 착수한다. 영인면 구성·창용·신봉 일대에는 350톤 규모의 소규모 처리시설이 내년 3월 착공한다. 아산시는 총 2,088억 원을 투입해 하수관로 정비 12개 사업을 진행 중이다. 도시침수 대응으로 총 1,443억 원을 투입해 침수위험지구 4곳의 우수관로를 신설·개량한다.

임이택 소장은 "상·하수도 인프라는 미래 환경·안전·성장을 떠받치는 핵심 기반"이라고 말했다.
