◆ 최종보고회 개최
천안시가 9일 시청 로비에서 2025년도 지역개발 공공디자인 연구용역 최종보고회를 열었다. 상명대학교 커뮤니케이션디자인전공 학생과 함께 진행한 12개 공공디자인 개선 프로젝트 성과물을 공개했다.

◆ 축제·옥외광고물·브랜딩 포함 다양한 프로젝트
연구용역은 축제 정체성을 강화한 디자인, 도시 경관과 조화를 이루는 옥외광고물 개선 방향, 시민 인식 향상을 위한 브랜딩 개발 등을 포함했다. 천안시가 시민이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 공공디자인 개선을 목표로 도시 이미지와 시정 홍보 연계에 중점을 뒀다.
◆ 지역사회-대학 협력 모델 지속 확대
보고회 참석자는 김석필 천안시 부시장(권한대행), 김종희 상명대 총장을 포함해 교수와 학생 40여 명이었다. 김석필 부시장은 "학생들의 창의적 제안이 시정에 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대한다"며 "지역사회와 대학이 함께 성장하는 협력 모델을 지속적으로 확대하겠다"고 밝혔다. 성과 전시는 12일까지 시청 로비에서 진행된다.

◆ Final Report Session Held
Cheonan City held the 2025 Regional Development Public Design Research Service Final Report Session at City Hall Lobby on the 9th. The results of 12 public design improvement projects jointly implemented with Sangmyung University Communication Design Major students were disclosed.
◆ Diverse Projects Including Festivals, Outdoor Advertisements, and Branding
The research service included design reinforcing festival identity, directions for outdoor advertisement improvements harmonizing with urban landscape, and branding development to enhance citizen awareness. Cheonan City focused on public design improvements that citizens can experience in daily life, emphasizing linkage between urban image and city government promotion.
◆ Continued Expansion of Local Community-University Cooperation Model
Report session attendees included Deputy Mayor Kim Seok-pil (Acting Mayor's Authority), Sangmyung University President Kim Jong-hee, and approximately 40 professors and students. Deputy Mayor Kim Seok-pil said, "I expect students' creative proposals to bring new vitality to city government," and "We will continuously expand cooperation models where local communities and universities grow together." The achievement exhibition will proceed at City Hall Lobby through the 12th.
