◆ 인도네시아 정부의 공식 협력 확보

인도네시아 중앙정부와 자카르타 주정부가 논산시 농식품 해외 진출을 공식 지지했다.

4일 오전 자카르타 주지사 집무실에서 백성현 논산시장은 프라모노 아눙 자카르타 주지사와 면담했다. 양측은 2026년 논산시 농식품 해외 박람회와 2027년 논산세계딸기산업엑스포의 성공 개최를 위한 공동 개최 협약을 체결했다. 프라모노 주지사는 "논산 농식품은 이미 인도네시아 소비자들에게 높은 평가를 받고 있다"며 "자카르타 주도 적극 협력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

같은 날 오후 티토 카르나비안 인도네시아 내무부 장관은 백 시장을 직접 초청해 단독 면담했다. 티토 장관은 논산시 박람회 개최에 깊은 관심을 표하며 "인도네시아 국민에게 양질의 농식품을 소개하는 데 큰 의미가 있다"고 밝혔다. 관계 부처와 협력해 행정 지원을 원활히 진행하겠다고 전했다.

◆ 현장 중심의 실무 협의 착수

5일 오전 논산시는 자카르타에서 현지 실무 협의를 진행했다.

백성현 시장은 간다리아 시티 몰을 직접 방문해 박람회 개최 예정지를 점검했다. 파쿠운 자티 그룹 대표와 함께 전시 공간 구성, 관람 동선, 관람객 유입 전략 등을 검토했다. 이어 롯데마트 자카르타 매장에서 김태훈 인도네시아 롯데마트 법인장과 만나 논산산 딸기, 포도, 배 등의 현지 판매 확대 방안과 박람회 참여 가능성을 논의했다.

동자카르타 시청을 방문한 백 시장은 문지린 동자카르타시장과 면담했다. 문지린 시장은 2025년 논산 박람회 당시 남자카르타 시장으로 인연을 맺은 상태다. 문 시장은 "동자카르타시도 2026년 박람회가 성공적으로 열릴 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ 해외 시장 진출 기반 강화

논산시는 이번 방문을 통해 중앙정부에서 기초 지자체, 민간 유통기업까지 전방위적 협력 의지를 확보했다.

백성현 시장은 "중앙정부와 자카르타 주정부에 이어 기초 지방정부와 민간 유통기업까지 협력 의지를 보이고 있다"며 "현장 중심의 실무 협의를 토대로 박람회 준비를 더욱 구체화하고, 논산 농식품의 해외 시장 진출 기반을 탄탄히 다져 나가겠다"고 밝혔다. 논산시는 앞으로 박람회 운영, 홍보, 구매자 연계 등 실무 준비에 속도를 낼 계획이다. 백 시장은 "자카르타가 보여준 지지와 협력은 논산 농식품의 국제무대 진출을 더욱 강화하는 기반이 될 것"이라고 강조했다.

On the morning of the 4th, Mayor Baek Sung-hyun of Nonsan met with Jakarta Governor Pramonno Anung at the governor's office. Both sides signed a joint cooperation agreement for the success of the 2026 Nonsan City Agricultural Products Overseas Exhibition and the 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo. Governor Pramonno stated, "Nonsan agricultural products already receive high evaluation from Indonesian consumers, and Jakarta Province will actively cooperate."

In the afternoon of the same day, Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian directly invited Mayor Baek for a one-on-one meeting. Mayor Baek directly visited Gandaria City Mall to inspect the planned exhibition venue. He reviewed exhibition space configuration, visitor flow patterns, and visitor attraction strategies with the group's representative. He then met with Kim Tae-hoon, head of Lotte Mart Indonesia, to discuss expansion of local sales for Nonsan strawberries, grapes, and pears, as well as Lotte Mart's potential participation in the 2026 exhibition.

Mayor Baek visited East Jakarta City Hall and met with Mayor Munjirin. Mayor Munjirin had forged connections with Nonsan City as South Jakarta's mayor during the 2025 Nonsan agricultural fair. Mayor Munjirin stated, "East Jakarta will actively support the success of the 2026 Nonsan fair."

◆ Strengthening Foundation for Overseas Market Expansion

Through this visit, Nonsan City secured full-spectrum cooperation from the central government down to local governments and private distribution companies.

Mayor Baek stated, "Following the central government and Jakarta Province, basic local governments and private distribution enterprises are also showing commitment to cooperation. Based on these on-site operational consultations, we will further concretize fair preparations and establish a solid foundation for Nonsan agricultural products' international market entry." Nonsan City plans to accelerate practical preparations including fair operations, promotion, and buyer linkage. Mayor Baek emphasized, "The support and cooperation shown by Jakarta will serve as a foundation to further strengthen Nonsan agricultural products' entry into the international stage."
