◆ 행정수도 완성 위한 제도적 기반 구축

◆ 역대 최대 투자유치·정부 예산 확보

◆ Institutional Foundation for Administrative Capital Completion

Sejong City established an institutional framework for completing the administrative capital during its 4th administration. In September 2025, the government included "administrative capital clarification" as a constitutional amendment agenda item in national policy tasks. Bipartisan lawmakers proposed the "Administrative Capital Special Act," targeting National Assembly passage in the first half of 2026. National Assembly rules enacted in October 2023 confirmed the construction of the Sejong National Assembly Hall. The Court Organization Act revision in September 2024 provided the legal basis for establishing the Sejong District Court. ◆ Enhanced Accessibility Through Metropolitan Transportation Network

Sejong City achieved a turning point for the Chungcheong Metropolitan Express Railway (CTX) project. CTX is the first private investment railway project in a non-metropolitan area, connecting Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungbuk within 30 minutes. It passed the private investment feasibility assessment in November 2025. The "Cheotmaeul IC" construction project, enabling direct highway access from the Sejong new city center, was included in the "Happy City Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Plan." Jecheon underpass construction and Geumgang River crossing bridge construction were also confirmed. One year after introducing the Eung Pass, public transportation usage increased 13% and bus revenue increased 14%.

◆ Record Investment Attraction and Government Budget

Sejong City attracted 47 companies including KT&G during its 4th administration, securing 3.4088 trillion won in investment. This is the largest since the city's establishment.
