◆ 프로그램 참여 현황

속리산중학교(교장 김성은) 3학년 학생 6명이 지난 11월 25일부터 28일까지 3박 4일 동안 제주에서 진행된 '제주! 내가 계획하는 캠프'에 참여했다. 장정기 지도교사가 이 활동을 인솔했다. 이 캠프는 청소년성취포상제의 일환이다. 학생들은 '제주! 3년의 마지막 페이지, 우리만의 졸업 앨범'을 주제로 활동했다. 청소년성취포상제는 타인과의 경쟁이 아니라 자신과의 약속에 따라 목표를 세우고 성취를 이루는 프로그램이다.

◆ 세 단계 프로그램 구성

캠프는 세 단계 프로그램으로 구성되었다. 첫 번째 '자기 이해' 단계에서 학생들은 개인 브이로그 촬영과 졸업 편지 작성을 통해 중학교 3년을 되돌아봤다. 두 번째 '도전과 용기' 단계에서 학생들은 패러글라이딩과 실내 서핑, 관악 버스킹에 참여했다. 특히 트럼펫·호른·클라리넷으로 구성된 학생 버스킹은 제주 도민으로부터 호응을 받았고, 관람객들은 떡볶이를 사주며 격려했다. 세 번째 '우리의 추억' 단계에서 학생들은 곶자왈과 산방산 등산, 감귤청 공방체험으로 제주의 자연과 문화를 경험했다.

◆ 학생·교장 의견과 향후 계획

캠프 참여 학생 김예원은 "모든 체험이 특별했고, 친구들과 함께한 일상이 소중한 추억이 됐다"고 말했다. 김성은 교장은 "청소년성취포상제는 학생이 자기주도적으로 계획하고 실천하면서 책임감이 길러지는 의미 있는 프로그램"이라고 평가했다. 속리산중학교는 앞으로 학생들의 진로 탐색과 공동체 성장을 돕기 위해 다양한 교육 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.

◆ Program Participation Overview

Six third-year students from Sokri Middle School (Principal Kim Sung-eun) participated in the "Jeju! My Planned Camp" held in Jeju from November 25 to 28 for three days and four nights. Teacher Jang Jung-ki accompanied this activity. The camp was part of the Youth Achievement Award Program. Students worked on the theme of "Jeju! The Last Page of Three Years, Our Graduation Album." The Youth Achievement Award Program is designed for students to set goals and achieve success based on personal commitment rather than competition with others.

◆ Three-Stage Program Structure

The camp consisted of three-stage programs. In the first stage of "Self-Understanding," students reviewed their three years of middle school through personal vlogging and graduation letter writing. In the second stage of "Challenge and Courage," students participated in paragliding, indoor surfing, and busking performances with wind instruments. Notably, the student busking performance featuring trumpet, horn, and clarinet received positive responses from Jeju residents, who encouraged them by buying tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). In the third stage of "Our Memories," students experienced Jeju's unique nature and culture through hiking Gojawas and Sanbangsan Mountain, and participating in citrus tea craft workshops.

◆ Student and Principal Perspectives and Future Plans

Student Kim Ye-won, who participated in the camp, said, "All the experiences were special, and everyday moments spent with friends became precious memories." Principal Kim Sung-eun stated, "The Youth Achievement Award Program is a meaningful program where students develop responsibility through self-directed planning and practice." Sokri Middle School plans to continue operating various educational programs to support students' career exploration and community growth.
