◆재난의료 종합훈련대회 3위 수상

충남도는 보건복지부가 주최하고 국립중앙의료원이 주관한 '2025년 재난의료 종합훈련대회'에서 전국 3위를 차지하며 보건복지부장관상을 수상했다고 14일 밝혔다.

지난 11~12일 이틀간 천안 JEI재능교육연수원에서 열린 이번 대회는 전국 15개 시도 대표팀이 참가했다. 대회는 대규모 재난 발생 상황을 가정한 도상훈련, 현장응급의료소 설치, 재난안전무선통신망 운용 등 실전 술기훈련까지 3개 분야에서 재난의료 대응역량을 겨뤘다.

◆10명 대표팀 구성해 사전훈련

충남도는 이번 대회를 위해 서산시보건소 신속대응반 4명, 순천향대 천안병원 DMAT 4명, 충남소방본부 구급대원 2명 등 총 10명으로 대표팀을 구성했다. 재난거점병원 재난의료관리자의 기술지원 하에 철저한 사전훈련을 거쳐 대회에 참여했다.

◆도민 안전 확보에 만전

유호열 충남도 보건정책과장은 "전국 시도가 모인 대회에서 우리 도 대표팀이 우수한 역량을 인정받아 매우 뜻깊다"고 말했다.

유 과장은 "이번 성과를 발판 삼아 충남 실정에 맞는 재난응급의료체계를 더욱 공고히 하고, 도민 안전 확보에 만전을 기하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆Won 3rd Place in Disaster Medical Comprehensive Training Competition

Chungnam Province announced on the 14th that it took 3rd place nationwide in the '2025 Disaster Medical Comprehensive Training Competition' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and supervised by the National Medical Center, receiving the Minister of Health and Welfare Award.

The competition held for two days from the 11th to 12th at the JEI Talent Education Training Center in Cheonan was attended by representative teams from 15 provinces and metropolitan cities nationwide. The competition tested disaster medical response capabilities in three fields: tabletop training assuming large-scale disaster situations, on-site emergency medical station installation, and practical skill training including disaster safety wireless communication network operation.

◆Formed 10-Member Representative Team for Preliminary Training

Chungnam Province formed a representative team of 10 members for this competition, including 4 from the Seosan City Health Center rapid response team, 4 from Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital DMAT, and 2 paramedics from Chungnam Fire Headquarters. They participated in the competition after thorough preliminary training with technical support from disaster base hospital disaster medical managers.

◆Doing Everything for Provincial Resident Safety

Yoo Ho-yeol, Director of Health Policy Division of Chungnam Province, said "It is very meaningful that our provincial representative team was recognized for excellent capabilities at a competition where provinces and cities from across the country gathered."

Director Yoo stated "We will use this achievement as a stepping stone to further solidify the disaster emergency medical system suitable for Chungnam's circumstances and do everything to secure provincial resident safety."
