2026학년도 대학수학능력시험(수능)이 하루 앞으로 다가왔다.
충북 수험생 1만3800여명은 12일 예비 소집에 참석해 수험표를 수령하고, 시험 유의 사항 등을 전달받았다.
충북교육청에 따르면 2026학년도 수능은 13일 오전 8시40분부터 오후 5시45분(일반수험생 기준)까지 청주·충주·제천·진천·옥천 시험지구 5곳, 시험장 35곳(시험실 547곳)에서 실시된다. 청주지구 17곳, 진천지구 7곳, 충주·제천지구 각 4곳, 옥천지구 3곳에 시험장을 마련했다.
응시자는 1만3890명으로 작년에 비해 1233명 늘었다. 재학생은 1만444명으로 전년(9305명)보다 1139명(12.2％) 늘었다. 졸업생은 전년보다 40명(1.4％) 증가한 2938명, 검정고시생은 54명(11.9％) 늘어난 508명이다.
지난해와 마찬가지로 올해 수능도 문·이과 구분 없이 국어, 수학 영역에서 공통 과목을 응시하고 선택 과목 중 1개를 골라 시험을 본다.
수능 당일 수험생은 8시 10분까지 입실하고 휴대전화, 스마트 기기 등 반입 금지 물품을 소지하지 않도록 주의해야 한다. 휴대 가능 물품은 신분증, 수험표, 검은색 컴퓨터용 사인펜, 흰색 수정테이프, 흑색 연필, 지우개, 샤프심(흑색, 0.5㎜), 시침·분침(초침) 있는 아날로그 시계, 마스크 등이다.
4교시 탐구 영역에서 시간별 해당 선택 과목이 아닌 본인의 다른 과목 문제지를 보거나, 동시에 본인이 선택한 두 과목의 문제지를 보면 부정행위로 간주돼 특히 유의해야 한다.
도교육청 관계자는 "올해 수능은 졸업생인 N수생과 재학생, 검정고시 응시생들이 많아 여느 해보다 대입 경쟁이 치열할 것으로 보인다"며 "수험생들은 긴장하지 말고, 저마다 실력을 마음껏 발휘하며 편안하게 시험 보기 바란다"고 말했다.

2026 College Scholastic Ability Test D-1, 13,890 North Chungcheong Examinees to Take Test
10,444 current students, up 12.2% from previous year… Conducted at 35 test sites
The 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) is one day away.
About 13,800 North Chungcheong examinees attended preliminary assembly on the 12th to receive their test admission tickets and instructions on test precautions.
According to the North Chungcheong Provincial Office of Education, the 2026 CSAT will be conducted from 8:40 AM to 5:45 PM (based on general examinees) on the 13th at 5 test districts in Cheongju, Chungju, Jecheon, Jincheon, and Okcheon, with 35 test sites (547 test rooms). Test sites were prepared at 17 locations in Cheongju district, 7 in Jincheon district, 4 each in Chungju and Jecheon districts, and 3 in Okcheon district.
The number of test takers is 13,890, an increase of 1,233 from last year. Current students number 10,444, an increase of 1,139 (12.2%) from the previous year (9,305). Graduates increased by 40 (1.4%) from the previous year to 2,938, and GED test takers increased by 54 (11.9%) to 508.
As with last year, this year's CSAT will have examinees take common subjects in Korean and Mathematics areas without distinction between liberal arts and sciences, and select one elective subject for testing.
On test day, examinees must enter by 8:10 AM and be careful not to possess prohibited items such as mobile phones and smart devices. Permitted items include ID card, test admission ticket, black computer sign pen, white correction tape, black pencil, eraser, mechanical pencil lead (black, 0.5mm), analog watch with hour and minute hands (second hand), and mask.
Special caution is needed as looking at test papers of other subjects not corresponding to the scheduled elective subject, or looking at test papers of both subjects selected by oneself simultaneously during the 4th period inquiry area, will be considered cheating.
An official from the provincial education office said, "This year's CSAT is expected to have fiercer college entrance competition than other years due to the large number of graduates who are N-level students, current students, and GED test takers," adding, "We hope examinees will not be nervous and take the test comfortably while fully demonstrating their abilities."
