접종 대상은 부여군 주소 소유자 중 60세 이상 미접종자다. 부여군은 생백신 1회 접종비를 부담하고 주민은 19,610원만 납부한다. 11월 17일 월요일부터 부여군 관내 지정의료기관 20곳에서 접종을 실시한다. 지정의료기관 명단은 부여군보건소 홈페이지와 읍면 행정복지센터에서 확인 가능하다. 부여군은 읍면 행정복지센터를 통해 접종 일정과 의료기관 정보를 지속적으로 안내할 계획이다.

유재정 부여군 보건소장은 "대상포진은 고령층에서 발병률과 후유증이 높은 질환으로, 예방접종이 가장 효과적인 예방법"이라고 밝혔다. 그는 "이번 지원사업을 통해 군민들이 건강한 노년을 보내길 바란다"고 덧붙였다.
