◆ 실전훈련으로 제설 역량 점검
세종특별자치시가 12일 연동면 제설 전진기지에서 대설 대응훈련을 실시했다. 최민호 시장 지시에 따라 고성진 시민안전실장이 주재한 훈련에서는 대설주의보 상황을 가정해 제설제 살포와 자동염수분사장치 가동을 진행했다. 동시에 각 읍면동 자율방재단과 재난 담당자 대상으로 소형제설장비 사용법 교육을 추진했다.
◆ 제설 자원 충분 확보...제설 취약지역 35곳 집중 관리
세종시는 올해 제설차량 84대와 제설제 9533톤을 확보했다. 제설 취약지역 35곳, 결빙 취약지역 22곳, 자동염수분사장치 20곳을 운영·관리한다. 주요 도로 4곳과 권역별 전진기지 6곳을 중심으로 제설 대상 도로 721.8㎞와 인도에 제설 작업을 펼친다. 면 지역 마을 보행로는 지역 주민 중심의 마을 제설단이 담당한다.
◆ 11월 15일∼3월 15일 실시간 상황관리
겨울철 자연재난 대책기간은 11월 15일부터 내년 3월 15일까지 전국 동일하게 진행된다. 세종시는 해당 기간 실시간 상황관리와 즉각적 재난 대응 태세를 유지한다. 국도와 행정중심복합도시 미이관 도로는 관련 기관이 제설하되, 시는 비상 연락망으로 정보를 공유해 공동 대응한다. 고성진 실장은 "현장 중심의 자연재난 대응체계 구축에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Live Drills Test Snow Management Capacity
Sejong Special Self-Governing City conducted heavy snow response drills at a snow removal forward base in Yondong-myeon on December 12. Under Mayor Choi Min-ho's direction and presided by Vice Mayor for Citizen Safety Ko Seong-jin, the drill simulated heavy snow warning conditions and involved de-icing agent application and automated brine spray system operations. Training on small snow removal equipment operation was simultaneously provided to autonomous disaster prevention units and disaster management personnel in each eup, myeon, and dong.
◆ Sufficient Resources Secured...35 Snow Removal Vulnerable Areas Under Intensive Management
Sejong City has secured 84 snow removal vehicles and 9,533 tons of de-icing agents for this winter. The city manages 35 snow removal vulnerable areas, 22 icing-prone sections, and 20 automated brine spray device locations. Snow removal operations cover 721.8 kilometers of designated roads and sidewalks, centered on four major thoroughfares and six regional forward bases. Village pedestrian paths in rural areas remain under community-based village snow removal units.
◆ Real-Time Management Continues November 15 Through March 15
Winter natural disaster response period runs uniformly nationwide from November 15 through March 15 of the following year. Sejong City maintains real-time situation management and immediate disaster response readiness throughout this period. National roads and roads not yet transferred to the Administrative Capital Complex Complex remain under relevant agencies' responsibility, with the city coordinating through emergency contact networks. Vice Mayor Ko stated, "We will do our utmost to establish and implement a field-oriented natural disaster response system."
