◆ 봉사 실시 현황 보은교육지원청(교육장 전병일)은 11월 12일 보은군 사과농가에서 농촌 일손 돕기 봉사활동을 실시했다. 본격적인 영농철 도래로 심화된 농촌 인력난 해결 목표로 추진한 활동이다. 직원들은 사과 수확 작업에 참여했다.

◆ 봉사 배경 및 의의 봉사활동은 인구 감소와 고령화로 인한 농촌 인력 부족 문제 해소 취지로 마련됐다. 보은교육지원청은 지역사회와 상생 발전하는 교육 실현을 활동의 추진 방향으로 설정했다. 전병일 교육장은 "농번기를 맞아 일손 구하기 어려움을 파악하고 직원과 함께 현장을 방문했다"고 설명했다.

◆ 향후 봉사 계획 보은교육지원청은 매년 상반기와 하반기 농촌일손돕기 봉사를 지속적으로 진행한다. 기관은 지역사회 상생을 위한 사회공헌 활동을 계속 추진할 계획이다.
